Lead Characters:

Eun Bora – A girl who works in a detective office as a hacker.
She’s the kind who walks into danger without blinking, her chin raised in defiance — yet at the sight of blood, her hands tremble and her steps falter.
A fearless spirit living in a fragile world.
She doesn’t have parents; loneliness is her oldest companion. She lives alone, carrying her sorrows tucked quietly behind a brave smile.

Jooan – Bora’s best friend and her coworker too.
He’s the sunshine in her otherwise cloudy world — a very sweet and kind person.
He secretly loves her, the kind of love that aches silently in his chest, blooming quietly every time she laughs.
That’s why he never leaves her alone, always standing just a step behind her like a silent guardian.
Even every time he used to go to his hometown to meet his family, he used to take her there with him — holding her hand like she belonged with them, like she belonged with him.

Zeha – The biggest and most secretive mafia of Korea. Everyone knows him only by the name “Zee” and trembles at the thought of crossing paths with him.
But no one knows how he looks — a ghost with a gun, a whisper in the dark.
He’s very dangerous; there’s no hesitation in his blood-soaked hands. He easily shoots anyone without thinking a thing, as if pulling the trigger is as natural as breathing.
Furthermore, he doesn’t trust anyone… except his right hand, Hyun.

Family:

Mr. Kim – Jooan’s Father. A man whose strong hands once held both Jooan and Bora when they cried, protecting them like his own.

Mrs. Kim – Jooan’s Mother. She lost her sight in an accident when Jooan was ten years old, but her heart still sees everything.
She loves Bora as her own daughter, her fingers often trailing lovingly across Bora’s face to feel her expressions.

After Bora’s parents’ death, Jooan’s family took her in without hesitation, giving her the love she thought she’d never have again.
But when she became able to bear her own expenses, she started living separately — not out of ungratefulness, but because she didn’t want to burden them anymore.
Even then, the bond they shared remained unbroken — a bond deeper than blood.

Supporting Cast:

Mr. Bin – The detective in whose office Jooan and Bora work.
A gruff man on the outside, but someone who secretly worries about the young ones working under him.

Sojun – Bora’s and Jooan’s close friend and coworker.
He’s the one who adds laughter and light moments to their otherwise serious life.

Hyun – Zee’s right hand.
Cold, silent, and fiercely loyal — the shadow that follows another shadow.
